51 ZIMBABWEANS SEX WORKERS HAS BEEN DEPORTED AFTER A RAID AT SOME LODGES IN LUSAKA

THE Immigration Department has sent back 51 suspected Zimbabwean sex workers to their country of origin following a raid on some guest houses in Lusaka.
Immigration Department working in conjunction with the Zambia police service apprehended 55 foreigners following a raid at Katete Guest House, Friends Inn, in Chawama and Garden townships, respectively. Those arrested at the two places include 51 female Zimbabweans, two female Malawians, one female Tswana and one male from South Africa.
Immigration Department public relations Namati Nshinka said that over held of the arrested had no documents, while the rest had overstayed in the country. The 51 Zimbabweans were on Sunday, March 26th, 2017 removed from the country.
He added that arrangements to remove the two Malawians, the Tswana and the South Africa are underway.

Meanwhile, Maclaud Nchimunya a Lusaka resident, noted with sadness to say Zambian prostitutes are too expensive and now government is deporting the cheap prostitutes from Zimbabwe and other countries.

“We wont afford the ones that will remain now. Why can’t you deport all illegal foreigners from Congo, Burundi, Somalia and Rwanda based all shanty compounds in Zambia? Most of them are just thieves or conmen. Now you just land on our pleasure resorts. Why can’t you just be collecting tax from them?” Said.

He wondered why the government did not chase and deport the conmen and thieves surrounding the Lusaka area than the Zimbabweans.
