An Environmentalist based in Kitwe has warned that depletion of wetlands may be costly in any country. Mwelwa Musosha said that wetlands are slowly dying in the wake of infrastructure development.

An Environmentalist based in Kitwe has warned that depletion of wetlands may be costly in any country. Mwelwa Musosha said that wetlands are slowly dying in the wake of infrastructure development. he however said that wetlands should be maintained because they help to maintain good water quality in rivers. he has since implored government to ensure that wetlands are safe guarded as they help to stabilise climatic conditions as the earth grapples with issues of climate change.
