Mr. Mushimba says no driver will be allowed to operate after the four hour a day time has elapsed.

Minister of Communications and Transport Brian Mushimba has signed a Statutory Instrument that will restrict the number of hours bus drivers spend on the road.
Under the new Statutory Instrument, Public Service Drivers will now driver for only four hours a day. Mr. Mushimba says no driver will be allowed to operate after the four hour a day time has elapsed.
He says issues of engaging co-drivers will no longer be allowed. And Mr. Mushimba also says under the new Statutory Instrument all Public Service vehicles will be fitted with GPS to control speed.
