One fruit with different names

This fruit is called cucumber, in zambian languages it is called In Tonga we call these Makwambala (plural) or ikwambala (singular) while the common nicky name is Ba Sijatwa (dont touch me) because of the thornes.

In our language Senga from Chama Muchinga Province we call it CHIPWETE very nice fruit with a lot of seeds in it.

Katanda in lunda, the outside skin wen dried and cooked with dry fish I remember my grandma used to prepare it and it was so yummy with cassava meal nshima.

In pure Nsenga and Ngoni it is called Chitunguza and chewas call it Chipwete. Very nice fruit.
